Customer Reviews

Where to find verified, third-party reviews of Venta Heating & Air — and why we don’t post anonymous testimonials on our own site.

Most contractor websites have a "Reviews" page packed with five-star testimonials from "Sarah M." and "John D." with no last names, no dates, no verification. That’s not what this page is. We don’t post unverifiable testimonials on our own site, instead, we send you to the third-party review platforms where the feedback is authenticated by the platform, attached to real accounts, and includes the negative reviews along with the positive ones.

If you’re researching whether to call us for an AC repair, furnace install, or heat pump conversion, the most useful thing we can do is point you somewhere we don’t control the narrative.

Where to find verified reviews

The four platforms most homeowners check before hiring an HVAC contractor in Southern California:

  • Google Business Profile: reviews tied to actual Google accounts, with dates and (usually) photos. The most trafficked review platform for local services. Search Google for "Venta Heating & Air [your city]" to find our regional Google Business Profiles.
  • Yelp: longer-form reviews, photos, and Yelp’s aggressive review-filtering algorithm. Pulls from Yelp users only, but useful for the depth of feedback. Search "Venta Heating & Air" on yelp.com to find our regional listings.
  • Better Business Bureau (BBB): complaint records, accreditation status, and BBB-mediated dispute history. Most useful for understanding how a contractor handles problems, not just successes. Search "Venta Heating & Air" on bbb.org.
  • Angi (formerly Angie’s List) — subscription-verified review platform with project-level detail. Search "Venta Heating & Air" on angi.com.

We’re working on getting our regional Google Business Profiles fully verified across all five service counties (LA, Orange, Ventura, San Bernardino, Riverside). The Google Maps "near me" search is one of the strongest signals for HVAC contractors, and verified profiles attached to the regional phone numbers in our contact-by-area table are part of how we serve each region transparently.

Why we don’t post anonymous testimonials here

The HVAC industry has a long history of fabricated reviews on contractor-owned websites. We’ve seen competitors quote "5-star reviews from 200+ customers" with first-name-only attribution and no way to verify the customer ever existed. Pretending those are real reviews is dishonest and we’re not going to do it.

Our policy:

  • No anonymous testimonials on this site. If we feature a quote, it will be from a customer who consented to being identified by full name and city, and the review will be quoted as it appears on a third-party platform we link to.
  • No paid reviews. We don’t pay customers for reviews and we don’t ask vendors to review us.
  • No filtering. When we link to Google, Yelp, BBB, or Angi, you see everything: including the rare frustrated customer who didn’t like the diagnostic answer.
  • No fake "Sarah M. from Burbank" cards with stock photo headshots.

How to leave a review after service

If we’ve done work for you and you want to share the experience, the most useful place is Google: it’s where future customers will look first.

  1. Search Google for "Venta Heating & Air [your city]" — e.g., "Venta Heating & Air Pasadena."
  2. Click on our Google Business Profile (the panel that appears on the right side of search results, or in the Maps result).
  3. Click "Write a review."
  4. Be specific, what was wrong, what we did, what you paid, whether the technician arrived in the window we promised. The specifics help future homeowners more than "great service."

If something went wrong with your service and you’d rather talk to us before posting a review, please call (424) 766-1020 or email roman@ventahvac.com. We resolve issues directly when we can.

Our commitment to service quality

What we promise on every job:

  • Live human dispatch 24/7: not an answering service.
  • Flat-rate pricing in writing before any work begins.
  • $85 diagnostic no double-billing if we fix it — no double-billing.
  • Permits pulled in your name on every install.
  • HERS testing scheduled on every replacement and install.
  • Rebates filed for you: TECH Clean California, SCE, LADWP, SoCalGas where applicable.
  • CSLB #1138898 (C-20): fully licensed and insured.
  • Honest repair-vs-replace math: we run the $5,000 rule, 50% rule, and R-22 rule openly on every quote over $1,000.

If we miss any of these on a job we did for you, that’s the kind of thing we want to hear directly first.

Resolving issues — our process

Things go wrong sometimes, a part fails after install, a system underperforms its spec, a tech missed a step. Here’s how we handle it:

  1. Call us directly at (424) 766-1020 or email roman@ventahvac.com. The owner reads every email sent to that address.
  2. Workmanship warranty: 1-year on all install labor, in addition to manufacturer parts warranties (typically 5–10 years on equipment, registered through us).
  3. Truck rolls back: if the issue is something we missed, we re-dispatch a tech without charge until it’s right.
  4. If we can’t resolve directly: the CSLB (California State License Board) handles formal complaints against licensed contractors at cslb.ca.gov. Our license is #1138898.
